Daily admission

Free – 4 years & under with responsible adult.

$3.25 – 8th grade & under

$4.00– 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th grade

$4.25 - Senior Citizen (60 yrs. & older)

memberships

All memberships are good for open swims, lap swims, open gym, exercise room, whirlpool, and sauna (exercise room, sauna, and whirlpool open to 9th grade & up only). Whirlpool and sauna open during pool activities only; lifeguard must be on duty. All fitness classes and after-school children's program included with membership. One-month, three-month, six-month, and twelve-month memberships available.

automatic bank withdrawal

Automatic bank withdrawal is available with six-month or one-year memberships.

There will be a $2.00/month charge for this service.

Birthday celebrations

Must call in advance. Birthday person gets in free. First eight people in party pay 1/2 price.

Low-Income Policy

Available for individuals & families of limited income. 50% discounts available (discount is off non-resident fees). Inquire at office or Community Action.

Credit/debit Cards

We accept Visa & Mastercard for programs, passes, and daily admission.

Refund Policy

Refunds do not include tax. Full credit may be taken in lieu of refund. No team refunds after schedule is written. Inquire at office for details.

Insurance

The Knoxville Recreation Department assumes no responsibility for injuries or accidents occurring during programs, activities, special events, or at any Recreation Department facility. The participant must be responsible for his/her own insurance coverage.

Gift Certificates

We have gift certificates available in any denomination. Certificates may be used toward daily admission, passes, or any recreation program.

Holidays

The Recreation Center will be closed Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, and Labor Day.

picnic kits

Great for picnics! Volleyball/net, softballs, bats, soccer & kick balls, frisbees and croquet sets, available on checkout basis. Reservations required. Fee: $5.75

SOFTBALL DIAMONDS

If your team or organization would like to host a softball tournament, the fields may be rented for a fee. This fee would consist of time and material to prepare the fields. Call the Recreation Center to make a reservation (828-0580).

ADVENTURELAND DISCOUNT TICKETS

In cooperation with the Iowa Parks & Recreation Association, we can offer you savings on tickets to Adventureland. Just remember to purchase your tickets from us for great savings. Children age 3 & under get in free. NO CHECKS — CASH OR CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS ONLY. $25.00 ($31.00/27.00 at gate.)

Recreation Center Rentals

The Knoxville Recreation Center has four different “After-Hours” rental plans. They include:

1. Two-hour pool rental/whirlpool & sauna (up to 75 people)
2. Two-hour gym rental (includes racquetball courts & exercise room)
3. Two-hour facility rental (entire facility)
4. Overnight facility rental

For more information regarding times available, deposits and fees, call the Center.

Padlock Rental

We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. Bring your own padlock and remove it when you leave. OR Rent a padlock from us (25 cents + 1.00 deposit). OR Use the basket room free (summer hours only).

Locker Rental

Lockers may be rented by pass-holders. Patron supplies own padlock. Rental period is the same as the pass. Fee: $31.75/year.

Late Registrations (Late fee policy in effect .)

Late registrations considerably alter team sizes, scheduling, program supplies, the number of nstructors/volunteers needed, and the entire process of coordinating a program. Also, nothing eliminates a good program faster than everyone waiting until the last minute to register. There comes a time when programs have to be cancelled because there are not enough registrants. PLEASE SIGN UP EARLY.

Late Fee Policy

A $10.00 late fee will be assessed to all league teams whose registration and/or payment* is accepted after the advertised deadline. A $5.00 late fee will apply to individual programs with a registration deadline, when the registration and/or payment is accepted after the advertised deadline. Late registrations will be accepted only until schedules are written, rosters compiled, or the program begins. If a program fee is less than $5.00, the late fee will be the same as the program fee.
