Jim Bellamy Field at the Knoxville Municipal Airport

The Knoxville Municipal Airport, renamed Jim Bellamy Field, serves the greater Knoxville community and the surrounding areas of Marion County. The airport comprises some 120 acres, and is located at the southern edge of Knoxville, adjacent to the Highway 14 & Highway 5/92 interchange. The 4,000 foot (by 75 foot) single runway is constructed of concrete, with parallel taxiway.

Jim Bellamy Field serves a number of Knoxville businesses, medical emergency services, and recreational users. The airport includes thirty-four (34) T hanger facilities, many of which are available for rent. Also located on the airport grounds are a maintenance shop, community hanger, and fueling station. A WIS weather system is located in the terminal. The Knoxville Municipal Airport requires no overnight fees or tie-down fees, and is open 24 hours.
